Truck ops — you drive the Langton truck

Updated from the 7/17 Truck Ops meeting. Insurance ✓ license ✓ waiver ✓ ticket ✓.

Decided 7/17

Your truck: the Langton truck (SF legs), with Jorge co-driving and Jesse as navigator — the 3-person cab. Carter + Dakota take the storage truck (Extra Space, Fruitvale).

Pickup: Ryder, San Francisco (same spot as last year), reservation from 10am Tue. Your truck likely downsizes 26'→20'. Return is easy: Ryder has a key drop, open window.

Tuesday night both trucks park at a secured lot: 195 98th Ave, Oakland (truckparkingclub.com, Laura booking on the org card). Uber home — Priceless reimburses Ubers and meals during truck ops.

Caveat: the call hit Meet's 60-min cap and continued on a second link that wasn't recorded — details below may shift in #truck.

Your driving week — Tue 7/21 → Tue 7/28

Tue 7/21Ryder SF ~10am, out the gate ~10:45 → Langton load 11:30–2:30 (art truck clears at 11) → Treasure Island (Haze) 3:00–4:30 (heavy stage deck; key-holder will be there) → park 195 98th Ave Oakland → Uber home (reimbursed)
Wed 7/22Leisurely morning → grab truck in Oakland → drive up (2–3h via 101; last 40 min is twisty — mind the trees) → on-site unload ~4–8pm → tent camp (self-feed Wed + Thu until 3pm)
Thu 7/23 – Sun 7/26 AMEvent. Thu 10am mandatory all-hands @ Amphitheatre.
Sun 7/26 PMPack the truck after close · stay the night (Sasha's advice: people are crispy) (strike meeting 11am · ask Sasha for a bunk)
Mon 7/27Leave ~9am → Bay unloads from ~noon: Oakland 11a–3p · TI 1–2p · SF 2:30–5p
Tue 7/28Return truck to Ryder SF — key drop, any time
Sasha offered to cover any leg you can't do — you told her all legs look good. If that changes, tell her early, not day-of. Her cell: 510-319-8261.

Key docs

Access-blocked still: the truck coordination notes doc needs planner-group sharing on ryrolitt — ask willow/Sasha to add you.

Still open after the meeting

1. Ryder SF street address — pull it from the reservation PDF (Tristan's sheet) before Tuesday, and plan how you get there (Carter's pattern: drive a car over, stash it near the overnight lot).

2. Radio — the request form closed 7/3, before you joined. One DM to Sasha.

3. Sunday-night bunk — Sasha keeps the Planner Cabin / Shannon Lodge list; she's already advising you stay Sunday night, so get on it.

4. Part 2 of the meeting wasn't recorded (second Meet link) — skim #truck for anything Laura locked after the cut, esp. Wed departure time and volunteer counts.
